AI tip: "Taalkampioen"
To guide our children well in AI times, we shouldn't only think about the risks, but in my view also make sure opportunities are reachable for as many children as possible.
That's why today I'm sharing an AI tool that's used a lot here at home: Taalkampioen (made by Tom Naberink). It's an app with which, from one photo of a word list, you make flashcards and practice games within a minute.
What makes it special (besides the efficiency 😅): you can share the created environment with friends or classmates, so they can play against each other. Especially for our boys (upper primary and secondary school) that competition with friends works as motivation.
How does it work?
- Go to taalkampioen.vercel.app
- Click the yellow box: "Make a Taalkampioen with your own words"
- Upload a photo of the word list via ChatGPT (green) or Gemini (yellow)
- Copy the code you receive
- Paste it into Taalkampioen and give your list a name
Done! Now you can practise and share the link. Extra tip: the sound can also be turned off. 🔇
