Watch out for this app: the AI fixer

You should NOT share this app with your child. At least, not if you want AI homework to become even harder to tell apart from a pupil's own work.

I'm talking about an AI-built app that catches AI texts on AI-style phrasing and then uses AI to suggest how to make it sound less like AI. Still following?

Either way, I'll share it anyway. I think it's actually a really good tool for discussing with children/pupils how you can recognise AI-generated material.

You suddenly see how many typical AI sentences there are:

• "Not because... but rather because..."
• Three-part enumerations...
• Perhaps most importantly...

And honestly (sorry...): some Insta posts also completely fail such a scan. 🫣 Wonderfully subtle to then just reply with the link.
